Sunday Hiking: Weston Reservoir
We managed to make it through week two of Sunday Hikes, sadly we will have to miss week three, I'm still trying to find a way to make up for it, so there might not be a hiking post next week.
For the second Sunday hike I went with my friend Rachel, my boyfriend, Alexis, and our dog Behr. Again, we didn't have much time as Rachel had midterms to study for, so we decided to stay local. We chose a parking lot that seemed easy to find and meet at about 117 Ash St. Weston, MA.
We gathered our things and Behr and headed out starting on the right side of the loop. The entire loop is fenced so you can't get to the water and contaminate it. There were lots of dogs and many were off leash so we let Behr run around and have some fun. Of course, since we had Behr, you will notice he stars in most of my photos.

Along the way we came across a spot I had used for a photoshoot in the past and took a few new photos before moving on. It will be interesting to compare how the area has changed from before.
About half way around we found another path off the reservoir that we will have to try next time and see what we find. We also found multiple streams that come out of the reservoir and some pretty trees.

Using My Map by Google Maps we walked about 2 miles in just over 1.5 hours. The actual walk highlighted here is no exact as the path isn't marked in Google maps.
